Turnout in the geographical constituencies in Sunday's 2025 Legislative Council election has exceeded 31 percent as the voting day drew to a close.
With polls closing at 11.30pm, the Registration and Electoral Office said more than 1.31 million people had voted in the geographical constituencies, representing 31.9 percent of registered voters.
The highest turnout was in New Territories South West, followed by New Territories South East and New Territories North West.
Turnout in the functional constituencies was 40.09 percent, while 99.45 percent of eligible voters cast their ballot in the Election Committee constituency.
