The DAB's Holden Chow and Roundtable's Mark Chong on Monday took the two seats for the New Territories North West Constituency in the Legco 2025 elections.

Chow came away with 42,347 votes and Chong, who is an engineer, won 34,756 votes.

Yuen Long district councillor Jason Leung came in third.

Speaking to RTHK after his victory, Chow said the most pressing issues were building renovation in the wake of the Tai Po fire, and healthcare.

"We need to have a full reform on the policy on how to regulate the maintenance work on the high-rise buildings, construction works and occupational safety," he said.

"On major livelihood issues, we have received a lot of feedback from a lot of elderly residents because lately, the public hospitals have been charging more... and that actually creates a burden on a lot of residents."
