Court orders Evergrande liquidation, citing doubts over debt restructuring  Listenfacebook
The High Court has ordered the liquidation of property giant Evergrande, with Judge Linda Chan saying the firm had failed to convince the court that it had a working restructuring plan. Evergrande is the world's most indebted developer with more than US$300 billion of total liabilities. As Chloe Feng reports, it had defaulted on its offshore debt more than two years ago:

The privacy watchdog has found that multiple restaurant chains here are using the personal data of customers who order food through their mobile apps. The privacy commission had conducted a survey of 60 restaurants - and all ten businesses that have its own food-ordering app were found to be using customer information for user tracking and direct marketing purposes. Privacy commissioner, Ada Chung, told Anne Chan why it looked into the matter:

Coalition formed to promote use of green aviation fuel  Listenfacebook
A new coalition has been formed to promote the use of environmentally friendly fuel for flights in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Sustainable Aviation Fuel Coalition has been launched by the Business Environment Council and Cathay Pacific. The coalition includes various companies and organisations involved in the production and distribution of sustainable aviation fuel. EcoCeres, a renewable fuel producer, is part of the coalition. Its vice president, Judy Wong, said Hong Kong needs to keep up with the trend of sustainable aviation fuel to remain competitive as a major aviation hub. She spoke to Elvis Yu:

An aviation expert says the government can help promote the use of environmentally-friendly jet fuel for planes flying out of Hong Kong by lowering taxes and handing out subsidies for research and development.
