Octopus card expands reach to the mainland Listen
People will be able to use the Octopus card on public transport in more than 330 mainland cities starting on Tuesday. As Hailey Yip reports, the move means the card can be used on buses, subways, trains and ferries in almost half of the cities on the mainland:

Govt to boost HK's role as a global cultural hub: John Lee Listen
Authorities say they'll do more to support the arts here and strengthen Hong Kong's position as a "east-meets west" cultural centre. Chief Executive John Lee also said the SAR has signed over a dozen agreements to boost the city's standing as a global cultural hub. Frank Yung reports:
Millions expected to travel over Easter and Ching Ming Listen

Weightlifting association apologises over remarks Listen
The local weight-lifting and power-lifting association has apologised over comments made by its chairwoman on Sunday. The group says it was a slip of the tongue when she described Hong Kong as a "relatively small country". Vanessa Cheng reports:
'Cancer support programme beneficial for patients and their families' Listen
A recent study conducted by the University of Hong Kong has shown that a cancer support programme has significantly improved the mental well-being of patients and their families. Provided by the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, the 300-people study showed both patients and caregivers saying they felt less stress or distressed after joining the Cancer Survivorship Care Project. Patricia Chu, chair of the Anti-Cancer Society, told Janice Wong that the scheme is helpful because it provides one-to-one and tailor-made support to those in need:
Local men's squad prepare for HK Sevens Listen
The Hong Kong’s men’s and women’s rugby sevens sides are preparing for a gruelling run of tournaments, starting with the Hong Kong Sevens competition at the start of April. After that, the men’s team travel to Germany and the women to Poland in the final leg of World Rugby’s Challenger Series - with both teams hoping to qualify for the competition’s grand finale in Spain at the end of May. For now though, men’s player Liam Herbert is focused on next month’s Hong Kong Sevens - a competition he first attended as a fan. He spoke to Jamie Clarke:
'SAR women's rugby team taking it one step at a time' Listen
The SAR's rugby squads will travel to Monaco at the end of June for the final qualifying tournament for Paris 2024.
