Transport sector lawmaker Frankie Yick has called on the government to limit the number of online ride-hailing platforms in Hong Kong. In documents submitted to the legislature earlier this week, officials said they planned to regulate online ride-hailing services through a licensing system. Mr Yick told Anne Chan that the authorities should only licence one or two platforms.

CUHK develops autism test by examining children's stool Listen
Scientists at the Chinese University say they've developed a special test that can diagnose autism in children by examining their stool. The research team studied 1,600 children with autism, aged between one and 13, over a period of five years. They analysed the bacteria, known as the gut microbiome, in their digestive systems. Professor Siew Ng, one of the researchers, said the stool test could help identify autism at an early stage, allowing for timely intervention. She told Kimmy Lau about her findings.
China warns NATO against provocation Listen
China has warned NATO against "provoking confrontation" over its ties with Russia, after the alliance accused it of playing a key role in helping Moscow's assault on Ukraine. Beijing said that a declaration from NATO leaders from their Washington summit was full of "belligerent rhetoric" and that the China-related content has provocations and lies:
