The University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine says it will use generative AI to facilitate and enhance teaching and learning. The department has developed a simulation education system called KASES to imitate real patient scenarios and an app that helps classify X-rays. Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Educational Technology, Gary Lau, spoke to Georgina Lee about the benefits of using AI in medical education:

A clinical psychologist says students who do not receive an ideal grade on their DSE exams should not feel discouraged. Martina Cheung from Castle Peak Hospital said youngsters should instead treat the experience as a learning opportunity to build resilience. As students will be receiving their results on Wednesday, Cheung said results day is a chance for students to build stress-coping techniques for any future challenges they may face. She told Hailey Yip that students can use the so-called "mango" technique to strengthen themselves psychologically when they face undesirable results:

Rower Chiu Hin-chun is looking to take part in his second Olympics on July 27. The 29-year-old clinched gold in the men's single sculls in the lightweight category of the World Rowing Cup in May, which involved athletes weighing no more than 72.5 kilogrammes. And he's now taking on a whole new challenge by participating in the open category in the Paris Games. As Natale Ching reports, Chiu is adopting a new strategy that he said would better prepare him against the "real giants":
